Another Childhood Snack About Noodles Snacks

Finally, another update about culinary journey there's a new update! Let's talk about another childhood snack again after a while.

This time, I'm gonna talk about a noodles snack that I've found recently. It used to be one of my favorite snacks in my childhood.

Spix Soba

Not gonna lie, it had been a while since I try it. A package of snacks, it contains 21 g. One spix boba costs Rp 1.500 when I buy it at the warung near my place.

I buy the chicken BBQ flavor this time. Not sure if there's another flavor since I only find this on the warung.

When I open it, there's a smell of savory and slightly spicy or hot that hits my nose. The noodles are short with yellow goldish color. Well, it looks cute somehow.

It has a crunchy texture when I take a bite. I can taste the chicken BBQ flavor with a slight spice on every bite. A taste that reminds me of my childhood. Maybe I'll buy it more often now.

Gemez Enaak

I believe that this snack is easy to find on the minimarket here. It has 2 variants that I can easily find on the minimarket: original and spicy flavor.

We can buy it in a package like one package has 3 bags of mi gemez or we can just buy one bag. I buy one package of gemez enaak spicy flavor and it costs Rp 9.200 meanwhile for one bag of gemez enaak original the price is Rp 2.300.

For the spicy flavor, it has a bit darker color for the noodles. For the smell, I can smell a bit of spicy seasoning inside. It has a bit savory and not spicy at all even though I can still taste a bit of chili seasoning.

For the original flavor, the noodles' color is yellowish. It smells like mi goreng somehow. The texture is, of course, crunchy and it tastes savory like mi goreng.

Well, childhood snacks always bring happiness tastes for me. It reminds me of my joyful youth. Of course, it tastes good too!
