Comparing How My Family Makes Instant Noodles
I just got this idea after checking my gallery. I realized that I had lots of food pictures. Surprisingly I got a lot of photos of instant noodles.
After thinking about it for a while, I realized that everyone has their style of making instant noodles. It includes my family. So, I want to compare it here.
My mother's cooking. |
First, it's my mother cooking. My mother cooks a lot of portions for real. She just adds some veggies like cabbage, carrot, and cauliflower sometimes. She doesn't follow the cooking instructions and just use her feeling as the recipe.
If I could be honest, even my mother's cooking is good, but my father's cooking is better. However, it still tastes good tho. Not gonna lie too, it's warm as if a huge whenever I eat her food. But still, the portion is too much for me sometimes.
My father's cooking. |
Second, it's my father cooking. I believe he can run a food stall if he wants to but he doesn't like that idea. I think he's a cook, especially for nasi goreng and sayur bayam.
My father adds a lot of vegetables. He puts anything in the fridge in an instant noodle. He rarely adds chicken or meatballs to instant noodles. Why? He just prefers veggies over meat. It tastes good. Simple but rich flavor. He has his recipe and doesn't even spill the recipe for me. Sometimes he adds rice to the instant noodles.
My instant noodles. |
The last one is me. I just can cook a simple meal. I do believe I have posted a lot about instant noodles here. So, my instant noodles just look like regular instant noodles.
If I'm too lazy to cook I just make my instant noodle plain without adding anything. But when I have some mood I'll add veggies, egg, sausage, or maybe cheese. But at the very least I usually put bok choy, egg, and fried shallots in my noodle.
That's all the comparison for now. It's fun to know everyone has their own way to enjoy instant noodles. Anyway, I write it based on my tweet here.
