Baso Aci For My First Time Even Though It's Instant Baso Aci

Baso aci. It keeps popping up on my twitter so sometimes I get curious about this food.

Trying baso aci for the first time.

So, I just tried my first time ever baso aci a few days ago. Well, instant baso aci to be precise.

I buy it at the nearby warung and it costs Rp 9.000 for one package of instant baso aci.

For the cooking, I just follow the instruction on the front package. It needs like 15 minutes for me to serve it.

It tastes good! It has warm and light broth. Maybe because I don't put all of the chili flakes since I'm a bit afraid of getting stomachaches. 

The broth is umami and a bit acidic due I put the lime in it. I can smell kencur or aromatic ginger too. It's refreshing if I can be honest.

The baso is soft and chewy. It has minced chicken inside. The siomay is crunchy outside giving more texture.

But not gonna lie, I think pilus and chuanki are not my favorites. It's tough and makes me hard to chew it.

Well, overall it tastes good. It suits my taste but I think I won't eat it every week. Maybe I'll just eat baso aci at a certain time.
