My Foods For Celebrating Ied Fitr This Year
Happy Ied Al-Fitr! Happy Ied Mubarak!
Well, let's check my culinary journey for this year's Eid Al-Fitr. To be honest, I don't eat much today.
Rice, rendang, peyek kacang, sambal, and sayur gori for breakfast. |
For breakfast, I eat rendang, sayur gori, sambal, and peyek kacang. I cook the rendang myself and it's my first time making proper rendang without using instant rendang seasoning. I'm so proud of the result.
A bit hot and spicy because of the sambal but still tasty! I think I'll try to make rendang again for the Ied Al Adha next time.
Bakso and pangsit for my lunch. |
For the lunch, my mother buys bakso from nearby warung. Not gonna lie, it has been a while since the last time eat bakso.
Warm and tasty. I love its warm and light broth. More importantly, it has pangsit too. The pangsit adds more texture to the bakso.
And for dinner, I don't eat anything. I dozed off around 07.30 pm once I touched the bed. Maybe cause I'm too tired I ended up sleeping like a log.
That's all for my culinary this time. I'll make an update like this again for the Ied Al-adha next time.
