Dine In Nasi Goreng at the Warung After A While
I was strolling around until I suddenly feel hungry. Well, it was already past dinner time since almost 8 pm now. So, I decided to grab my dinner in the nearby warung.
To be frank, it's a bit rare for me to dine in at warung or restaurant now. I don't know why, but I prefer to take away rather than dine in. Is it because I'm an introvert? Well, I'm not sure.

There's a warung with sign board nasi goreng Pati located near my place. I really want to try eating there and it's my chance now. When I arrived at the stall, a man in his middle 40s greets me warmly.
"Pak, one nasi goreng please."
"Oh, sure mbak! Do you want it spicy or mild?"
"The mild one please."
"Alright, please wait."
"Sure."

After ordering, I took a sit while watching the seller prepare my food. It doesn't take a long time for him to finish cooking. A few minutes later, he serves a warm nasi goreng on my table.
Not gonna lie, but it smells so good. The look is a bit different than normal nasi goreng since it's not darker. Maybe he doesn't put much kecap manis in it.
One plate nasi goreng with the toppings are sliced cucumbers, rambak, and fried shallots. It looks like the usual homemade nasi goreng for me.

I taste not sweet like the nasi goreng that I have written before. It's more savory with many seasonings when I chew it. Somehow, it really reminds me of my mother's nasi goreng. It tastes the same to me.

Oh, I almost forget to mention this. I'm a bit surprised that the seller uses rambak instead of krupuk. The rambak makes a different taste than the usual krupuk. It has more taste like garlic and is a slightly salty bit on every bite. A really good combination for me.
I spent 25 minutes eating there while enjoying the view. Not a pretty view-like scenery, but a view of a normal Indonesian stall. I mean you can see some online ojek drivers waiting for their orders, some people chatting in Javanese and Indonesian, and vehicles passing by the road.
It only costs Rp12.000 for a plate of nasi goreng and the water is free. The portion is good enough for one serving and tastes good. So, it's a really affordable price. The point plus that I like the most here is the seller is really friendly and greets the customer warmly.
Maybe, I will come here again and let's try another menu. This place is gonna be one of my favorite warung right now.
