I still had leftover rice from yesterday and the condition is still good. Besides that, I have any other ingredients. So, why don't use it for making nasi goreng then?
Cooking fried rice isn't that hard. Including the preparation, I need around 15 minutes to make a bowl of nasi goreng.
Since I decide to make nasi goreng of course I need sambal and kecap manis. Luckily, I do have instant sambal so I don't need to make sambal for the start. Yes, you can say it's a cheat for making nasi goreng quicker.

I just make nasi goreng using simple ingredients. All that I use is leftover rice, instant sambal, egg, sliced meatball, kecap manis, ketchup, chicken powder, turmeric powder, salt, pepper, and oil.
First, I heat the pan and pour a bit of oil. After that, I put the instant sambal and toss it until fragrant. Then, crack an egg and scramble it with sambal. I don't forget to add a pinch of salt before putting the sliced meatball.
I toss egg, sliced meatball, and sambal well before putting the rice. Add the seasoning like chicken powder, salt, pepper, and a pinch of turmeric powder. After the seasoning is mixed, I give kecap manis and ketchup. Tossing it again for a few minutes and it's done!

My nasi goreng doesn't look like the usual nasi goreng for me. It isn't dark brown and slightly yellowish due to turmeric powder and I just give a tiny bit of kecap manis.
However, it smells and tastes good tho! It tastes savory from the seasoning and sambal, slightly sweet from kecap manis, and a bit sour due to the ketchup. I guess, I mix the ingredients and seasoning well!
I'm not gonna lie that it's a simple yet lazy style of my nasi goreng. I should add more ingredients like green onion, krupuk, chicken or beef floss, pickles, and fried shallots next time.
Even though it's super simple nasi goreng for my breakfast, I still am satisfied and full! Perhaps, I will about me cook nasi goreng properly next time.
