Cooking Supermi Based On The Image of The Package

Instant noodle. I know I have written something about instant noodles here but I think I'm not gonna bored talking about it.

It all started with my tweet. I was talking about making an instant noodle based on the image on the package is gonna be fun.
Then here it is! I try to make it using the ingredients I have. Well, I know it's not the same as the package but at very least it looks similar a bit.

It's Supermi. Another instant noodle merk in Indonesia. For your information, this noodle is from the same company as Indomie. I used to eat this instant noodle a lot when I was a child.

As I have said before I tried to make it using the ingredients I had. So, it doesn't look the same as the cover. But at the very least I tried.

Bok choy, egg, tomato, chicken, and noodles. Well, it doesn't look bad right? But not gonna lie, I screwed the boiled egg since I can't peel it properly so pardon for the ugly-boiled egg.
Combining all those into one bowl is such a blessing. It has a good combination.
The noodle is still chewy. The veggies still have a crunchy texture. The chicken is so tasty since it's ayam goreng of course it's gonna be so tasty. The boiled egg even though it looks ugly is still creamy on the yolk.
The broth has a chicken flavor with a bit spicy from the chili powder. The tomato also adds a bit of acidity and umami flavor too.
It's such a simple meal but suits the best when it's raining outside right now. It's warm and relieved my hunger too. I guess I'll try to make this again soon.
