Bubur kacang hijau also known as bubur kacang ijo. It's a sweet porridge made from mung bean.

It has a unique texture and taste. It has sweetness from mug beans and black sticky rice. A bit of milky flavor from coconut milk. Sometimes there's also white bread in this sweet porridge
The surprising part is that bubur kacang hijau can be served warm or cold. If you want to have cold bubur kacang hijau, the seller will add the ice cube to your porridge. It seems weird for foreigners but it's common here.

A bowl of bubur kacang hijau cost around Rp 5.000 to Rp 7.000 here. It's usually served at night rather than during the day.
To be honest, I rarely eat this porridge. Well, I just eat porridge whenever I was sick. But tonight my father buy bubur kacang hijau for our dinner.
It's sweet, milky, and has a unique flavor. I think it's because the seller adds red syrup which is coco pandan to the porridge.
Well, it's a simple and cheap meal, to be frank. However, it always tastes good to have bubur kacang hijau on a rainy day with my family.
