Ketoprak For Breakfast or Late Night Dinner?

I remembered the first time tried ketoprak 6 years ago. I ordered it cause I was curious and I admitted it's so tasty and suits me.

Ketoprak. People said it's derivated from ketupat tahu digeprak. But I ain't sure about it.

Ketoprak sometimes reminds me of gado-gado. But the sambal kacang or peanut sauce in ketoprak suits me better than the gado-gado.

Bihun, ketupat, tofu, bean sprouts, sliced cucumbers, peanut sauce, and krupuk. If you want it a bit fancy you can ask for fried egg too. Tada, I got ketoprak for my dinner then.

I usually spend Rp 10.000 to Rp 20.000 for one portion of ketoprak. I buy this ketoprak for Rp 18.000 on Gofood.

The peanut sauce is nutty, sweet, umami, and slightly hot. It suits well with fresh bean sprouts and cucumbers. The fried egg still has runny egg yolk. Adding more texture and toning down the chili in peanut sauce.

It's my first time enjoying ketoprak as my dinner. I usually eat ketoprak for my breakfast. However, it's still a good choice for my dinner I guess.

I'm not sure but probably I'll try to buy ketoprak as my dinner again next time. But I'm still wondering, is it better to enjoy ketoprak for breakfast or dinner?
