Turning My Leftover Rendang Into Nasi Goreng Rendang
Eating rendang a lot makes me frustrated. Well, because I keep eating rendang for days I'm getting bored.

Since I'm getting tired of warm rice and rendang, I decide to turn my leftovers rendang into nasi goreng.
It tastes good not gonna lie. I don't add many seasonings but it's flavorful just like my usual nasi goreng.
I add frozen vegetables, fried shallots, and peyek kacang for adding texture. It suits well my nasi goreng rendang. Spicy, umami, and crunchy from peyek kacang.

Even though it's delish, I feel a bit sad about the rice. Maybe because my mother cooks rice with adding more water the rice is a bit mushy. It gets sticky more easily than the usual rice for nasi goreng.
Well, it makes me a reminder to put rice in the fridge for making nasi goreng. At least putting it in the fridge for 30 minutes will make the rice's texture better.
I think I'll make nasi goreng rendang again when I get leftovers rendang next time. But believe me, I'm tired of eating rendang a lot for now.
