A Drama of My First Time Making Sambal Kacang
Quick update about my daily life. I start to love making my post here shortly. But still, I try to improve and learn my English so it isn't going to be rusty.
It's my first time making sambal kacang or peanut sauce on my own. My family started to eat pecel a lot these days and we use a lot of sambal kacang.
So, after running out of sambal kacang for almost one week. I decided to try making it.
My father, oh well let's just call it Bapak as my usual cause bapak means father in Indonesian, just helps me with the ingredients and then left the process to me. In the end, I just followed the recipe from the internet and tried my best to cook it.
It took more than 1 hour to make sambal kacang. I think it's gonna be quick since I'm just a food processor and not using mortar and pestle but that's just a silly wish for me.
The peanut kept getting stuck and sticky so it wasn't easy for the food processor to work. I need to repeat it almost 4 times and it's hella tiring for me.

Then after it's mixed well I tried to taste it. Guessed what? The taste isn't right. I have decreased the aromatic ginger in my sambal but still the aromatic ginger tastes so dominant. It's still edible and tasty but not suits my tongue.
I guess, I'll try to fix my sambal kacang again next. But for now, I'll need to be satisfied with this result.
